Apple Harvest Festival — October 17
The Haywood Chamber lists the 2026 Apple Harvest Festival for Saturday, October 17, in downtown Waynesville. The free street festival brings apple-themed food, arts and crafts to Main Street.
Mojo Manor is one mile from downtown. Plan parking and transportation around the event's street arrangements rather than assuming the drive or walk will take a fixed number of minutes. A downtown day pairs well with an unhurried evening back at the house.

Make a weekend of it
Friday: arrive after 4 PM, get settled and pick one easy dinner plan. The house has a stocked kitchen and two living areas if your group prefers to stay in.
Saturday: make the festival your main outing. Bring what you need for the weather and leave time for traffic, parking and a meal. Back at the Manor, the game room and hot tub let the evening continue without another reservation.
Sunday: choose a short town stop around your 11 AM checkout, or book a longer stay if you want a separate day for the mountains. Fitting a major scenic drive into a departure morning can turn a relaxed weekend into a rush.
